Why choose Nexora
built for people who want work and results
Six features shape how Nexora works. Each one is explained below, with what it means in practice for clients and for freelancers.
01 / 06
Somalia-first
Somali and English journeys, locally relevant services and a mobile-first experience.
Nexora is designed around how people in Somalia actually look for work and hire help. That means two interface languages, categories that include practical local services as well as digital work, and pages that stay usable on ordinary phones and limited bandwidth.
Two languages
Core journeys are designed for users working in Somali and English, so a job brief or proposal can be written in the language both sides understand best.
Local categories
Alongside IT, design and writing, the marketplace covers tutoring, trades, handicrafts and fashion, and health and wellness services.
Mobile-first
Layouts are designed from 320 px wide upwards, and loading performance is tested for ordinary phones and limited connections.
Room to grow
Somalis abroad commissioning work in Somalia are a later growth focus, once the core journeys are proven locally.
For clients
- Write the brief in Somali or English.
- Hire for practical local services, not only online work.
- Use the platform comfortably from a phone.
For freelancers
- Present your skills in the language your clients use.
- Offer local, in-person services as well as digital ones.
- Manage jobs and messages on a mobile device.

One connected workflow
Profiles, jobs, proposals, contracts, messages, delivery and reviews in one place.
Hiring often breaks down when the brief lives in one chat, the price in another and the delivered files somewhere else. Nexora keeps each step of a job connected, so both sides can see what was agreed and what was delivered.
Profiles and jobs
Freelancers present skills, experience and availability. Clients post jobs with budget, deadline and requirements.
Proposals and contracts
Proposals explain approach, price and timeline. The accepted proposal becomes a written agreement with scope, milestones and dates.
Messages and delivery
Communication, submitted work and revision requests are recorded against the job.
Reviews
Once a job is completed, both sides leave feedback linked to that real job.
For clients
- Compare proposals side by side.
- Track progress and submissions in one record.
- Refer back to the agreement if a question arises.
For freelancers
- Find relevant jobs and send structured proposals.
- Keep scope changes documented.
- Build a profile from completed-job reviews.

Transparent pricing
A 5% completed-job fee at launch, shown before users commit.
Nexora uses one simple fee at launch: 5% of the completed job value, deducted from the freelancer's earnings. There is no separate client fee at launch, and the fee is shown before anyone confirms a transaction.
Linked to completed work
The fee applies to completed jobs, so it is tied to work that was actually delivered and accepted.
Shown up front
The agreed value, the fee and the amount the freelancer receives are visible before commitment.
A worked example
On a $100.00 job the fee is $5.00, and the freelancer receives $95.00 before any payment-provider charges.
Honest about payments
Payment confirmation may be manual in the initial phase. It is disclosed as such and never described as escrow.
For clients
- No separate client fee at launch.
- Know the full cost before you agree.
- Pay through the approved, disclosed payment route.
For freelancers
- Know your take-home amount before you accept.
- Pay only when a job is completed.
- Payment-provider charges are stated separately.

Trust that can be explained
Verification steps, authentic reviews and a recorded dispute process.
Nexora does not ask users to trust a logo. Every trust signal on the platform has a stated meaning: what a badge checked, which job a review belongs to, and how a dispute decision was reached.
Meaningful badges
A verification badge appears only after the specific step is completed, with an explanation of what it covers.
Real reviews
Reviews are linked to completed jobs. No invented ratings, endorsements or activity.
Reporting routes
Users can report suspicious accounts, abusive conduct, unlawful listings or disputed delivery.
Recorded disputes
Disputes follow four steps (receive, review, decide, escalate) with the rationale recorded.
For clients
- Understand exactly what a badge means.
- Read reviews from real completed jobs.
- Raise an issue through a defined process.
For freelancers
- Earn verification that clients can understand.
- Be judged on your actual delivery record.
- Be heard fairly if a dispute arises.
05 / 06
Practical delivery
Defined outputs, dates and revision expectations help both sides work with clarity.
Most disagreements start with an unclear brief. Nexora encourages every job to state what will be delivered, by when, how it will be checked and how many revisions are included, before work starts.
Defined outputs
Deliverables are specific and reviewable: agreed pages, files, sessions or completed repairs.
Acceptance criteria
The agreement records how the client will judge that the work is complete.
Revision limits
Included revisions are agreed up front, and further changes go through a documented change request.
Traceable handover
Delivery evidence, files and handover notes stay attached to the job.
For clients
- Know what you will receive and when.
- Request agreed revisions with confidence.
- Keep delivery evidence for your records.
For freelancers
- Work to a clear, fixed scope.
- Handle extra requests as documented changes.
- Show completed work with a clear record.

Growth with discipline
A lean MVP and closed pilot before larger categories, markets and advanced features.
Nexora launches small on purpose. A 30-day roadmap leads to a closed pilot with a limited group of clients and freelancers, and new categories, markets and features are added only when demand and support capacity justify them.
Listen first
Interviews with at least 10 clients and 10 freelancers shape the priority needs and pilot categories.
Focused pilot
The pilot covers 3 to 5 categories with 5 to 10 clients and 10 to 20 freelancers.
Measure and improve
Completion, satisfaction and repeat use are measured, and the core is improved before complexity is added.
Only supportable promises
Features such as escrow are introduced only after the required arrangements are confirmed.
For clients
- A platform tested on real journeys before scaling.
- Support that keeps pace with growth.
- Features that work as described.
For freelancers
- Categories opened when there is real demand.
- A pilot where feedback shapes the product.
- A marketplace that grows steadily, not hastily.
